I am a firm believer that life goes on and life is what you make of it.
Life itself, indeed, has been always great for me. Grew up in the cosmopolitan city of Jakarta (Indonesia), now I reside in a secluded little town in the beautiful cold north-eastern British Columbia (Canada) called Tumbler Ridge. Graduated with Anthropology as my major, I pursued my career for years in the advertising world as part of the creative team. But since I moved to Canada in 2006, I decided to work for myself and keep on nurturing my passions in photography, writing, and graphic design.
I fell in love with photography since I was 8 when I got my first Kodak camera from my dad. I got so mesmerized on how a picture could speak thousand words. How a picture could bring back your happy and even sad memories. Yet overall, I believe pictures could immortalize our moments that easily get forgotten while we are living in our fast life.
Taking picture, for me, is also like a weaving process. You put your knowledge that you have been learning every day on it along with your heart so it will come as a meaningful artwork that would last long. So here I am, a self-made photographer who love to weave your moments into images.
